Job Description

•Nursing Care for patient/client is rendered according to the Scientific Nursing Process following the guidelines of international patient safety goals, environmental health and safety system, evidence based practice and clinical pathways as per policy and in line with relevant health authority
•Patient Rights, education and statutory requirements are adhered to
•Medico-legal risks are prevented and managed
•Al Noor Hospital standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
•Quality Improvement
•Involved in continuous improvement projects and infection control regulations are monitored
•Participate in/attend quality improvement training
•Using foundations of theoretical knowledge and evidence based guidelines and apply these to a range of activities to achieve agreed patient care outcome
•Critically appraising care practices and appropriately implement quality improvement strategies
•Monitor and document processes and outcome of care
•Participate in patient/ client safety and risk minimizing and prevention activities
•Work is delegated according to the relevant scope of practice
•Patient Records and Documentation
•Records meet legal requirements and are done according to the health regulatory authority standards, policies and procedures and accreditation requirements
•Documentation audits are done according to hospital policy
•Clinical information is accurately documented

Requirements

Bachelor degree or Diploma in Nursing, in line with health regulatory authority requirements
Valid Basic Life Support Certification
Valid Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
Minimum of two (2 ) years clinical experience post qualification
As per the region’s licensing requirements, i.e. Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health.
Must be graduate form a National/Internationally Recognized College or University.
Valid license from the country of origin and/country of last employment.
