• Age Limit as on 16th Aug 2016: 30 years
• Qualification
  • Staff Nurse: Degree/Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
  • X-Ray Technician (Radio-Diagnosis): 12th or equivalent with Science subjects from a recognized Board and B.Sc. in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute approved by AERB or Diploma in Radiology
  • X-Ray Technician (Radio-Therapy): 12th or equivalent with Science subjects from a recognized Board and B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology/B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Radiotherapy)/B.Sc. in Medical Radiation Technology or PG Diploma/Diploma course in radiotherapy technology from a recognized University/Board/Institute
  • Physical Instructor: 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board and Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from a recognized University or its equivalent
• Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on Written Test
• Application Procedure: Apply offline send hard copy by registered/speed post before 16th Aug 2016
• Deadline: 16th Aug 2016

HOW TO APPLY?

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned above may apply in the prescribed format appended

(Annexure) along with the following certificates/enclosures:-

1. Demand draft in favour of the Accounts Officer, JIPMER payable at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, 

Puducherry (in original). DD once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

2. “No Objection Certificate‟ from the present employer, if employed in a State/Central Government/ Union 

Territory/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous body. A candidate claiming to belong to the category of Central 

Government servant and thus seeking age relaxation would be required to produce a Certificate from his/her 

Employer on the Office letter head to the effect that he/she is a regularly appointed Central Government Servant 

and not on casual/adhoc/daily wages/hourly paid/contract basis employee.

3. Candidates belonging to reserved category such as OBC, SC and ST may also apply for the vacancies notified 

against UR without relaxation in respect of Age.

4. Recent Passport Size Photograph affixed in application with self-attested.

III. INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Application cover should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of ____________________________

(code no. :________)” and the same should be addressed to the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry-605006.

2. Application as stated above should be submitted in the prescribed Pro-forma (Annexure) neatly typed / hand 

written on A4 size paper.

3. THE CALL MEMO FOR WRITTEN TEST WILL BE BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN 

THE APPLICATION AND THE SAME HAVING BEEN DECLARED TO BE CORRECT BY THE 

APPLICANT. THE CALL MEMO IS PURELY PROVISIONAL. CERTIFICATES IN ORIGINAL AND 

COPIES THEREOF REGARDING AGE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, IF ANY, 

REQUIRED IN THE RECRUITMENT RULES, CASTE, COMMUNITY AND SUCH OTHER 

CERTIFICATES AS REQUIRED UNDER THE RULES IN FORCE WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE 

PRODUCED BY ONLY THOSE APPLICANTS WHO ARE PROVISIONALLY SELECTED FOR 

APPOINTMENT BASED ON THE PERFORMANCE IN THE WRITTEN TEST/INTERVIEW. THE 

SELECTION FOR THE WRITTEN TEST IS ONLY PROVISIONAL AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE 

ANY APPOINTMENT TO ANY POSTS IN THE INSTITUTE. FAILURE TO PRODUCE THE 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES WILL RENDER SUCH APPLICANTS INELIGIBLE FOR 

CONSIDERATION FOR APPOINTMENT.

4. INCOMPLETE APPLICATION AND THE APPLICATION RECEIVED WITHOUT DEMAND DRAFT 

OF THE REQUIRED AMOUNT WILL BE REJECTED.

5. For candidates working in Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector undertaking / Autonomous 

bodies, their application should be routed through proper channel with the Vigilance Clearance Certificate and

„No Objection Certificate‟ from the Employer.

6. This Institute is not responsible for any postal delay.

7. The Call memo will be sent only to Eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent for late applications and 

ineligible applications.

8. Applications received after due date mentioned below will be rejected without any intimation.
9. Unsigned application will be rejected summarily.
10. THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED NOT TO BRING ANY POLITICAL OR OTHER 
RECOMMENDATIONS TO INFLUENCE THEIR SELECTION. THE CANDIDATURE OF SUCH 
CANDIDATES WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
11. The last date for receipt of filled in applications is 16.08.2016.
