Job Description:

Working closely with the Medical Director, the Head Nurse is responsible for the day –to-day running of the care services through leading and managing the  team, including nursing staff. This role includes:
 

• Ensuring that quality nursing standards are maintained and drive for continuous improvement at all times 
• Managing relationships with patients, their families, people within the local community and with professional colleagues 
• Managing Care team through coaching, mentorship and development to inspire, motivate and lead the team, dealing effectively with performance issues when they arise 
• Recruitment  and interview of the workforce management and supervision of  Team
• Development and implementation of HR related policies, training programs including staff induction
• Dealing with complaints from customers in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• 6 years minimum; of experience with at least 3 years leadership experience
• Current valid license from DHA
• have experience of leading a care team in the care of older people, or related social care setting
• have evidence of Continuous Professional Development
• possess good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• be fluent in English
• Arabic language is an advantage
• have a good understanding of compliance and clinical governance.
• have passion for the delivery of a person centered care service
